A buddy of mine has a 2002 loaded, hes got the 6.6 410 gears modded with dual flowmasters k&n cai and some adjustable chip. Needless to say mucho power and torque. It is truely a beast, kinda scary sounding. He'* drivin in mine car and says id beat him, but iv been for rides in his and almost ended up in the back seat from the pull. What are the chances. I dont really wanna get beat by a truck. He Gtech'd at mid 14'*. iv never been timed.

He'll more than likely beat you. Bone stock they run low 15'*. Those are the ones with the 496 big block in them.

No, it'* not. The 496 is the 8 liter. He said 6 liter. I have a friend with the 8 liter (he'* the guy that stood in the dark with the video camera when I zipped by doing 110). My car beats his truck fairly easily. Yes, they're quick for something their size, but not SSEi material.

With the 410 gears, he may get the jump off the line, but you'll be pulling away at the 1/4. That'* my guess.

The new duramax in my 03 dually is pretty nice... the duramaxs are limited to 97mph... and thats with 3.73s...with 4.10s is hardly going to push past 85...
My truck (with the welder) gets up and goes pretty good... I presume he has the alison... not the 5 or ZF6? I have the ZF6 and its FUN..
