That TechInfo at the top of the page evaded my notice for quite some time...

Depending on what year you have, make sure you take your time. The techinfo article, while being an excellent reference, was not exactly the same as my 98.

Havent done this myself because I'm too worried that I'll fubar my housings.

Do what I did and heat them up by soaking them is skalding hot water from the faucet and just pry them apeart with a small screw driver. The heat makes the glue softer and easier to take apart.. burning your hand is better then shoveling out $ for this mod.
