What happened to BC!?!?! It went down today!

yeah it wasnt down all that long but it was down nonetheless.

I almost had a stroke... no BC....

It goes down almost every day. Sometimes only for a couple minutes, but still almost every day.

Server goes out on a coffee break?

what kind of hardware is it running on? Who hosts it? If your paying for hosting thats unacceptable.

Big fat pipe in a climate controlled building in FL. Not free. It'* better than when it ran in Jeff'* closet at the frat house, as far as speed and load is concerned, but the uptime isn't as good.

Of course, if Jeff went home for the weekend, and the server crashed, we were out of luck on BC for the damn weekend. At least with the new provider that'* not supposed to happen for that long.

Yep, I came home to check on my bug post. Todd had called me to let me know that someone had found a name for my unknown insect, which now has a picture with it. Anywho, I couldn't wait to get home and finally find out what it was. But when I got tot the forum, there was nothing. I was so....well, miffed that the forum was down. I had waited all day to get home to log onto BC; I tried to go directly to a page, thinking that maybe just the main page was down, but oh noooooo, the whole thing was down. But I am all better now.

I remember when BC was out for a week!!!

I almost plotzed :P
