I am thinking about adding Ram Air to our car, and I am in need of some guidance. I was wondering what you guys have experienced as benefits of putting one in your car. Did it increase gase milage? Seat of the pants power? Nicer sound? Also, what materials/total cost if you can remember. Pictures or links would be great. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
When you say ram air do you mean a forward inlet that when at speed air is pushed faster and faster into it and subsequently the air filter? I have some 3" tubing from each end of my bumper inlet to my intake, check out page 8 of http://members.cardomain.com/bonnieboimn for my setup. 3" dryer duct fits PERFECTLY inside the recesses of the bumper.
Personally i am a little afraid of the ram air below the bumper idea, its a little too close to a CAI system for my tastes. If you do not hook it up to the cone, I don't think you will se much difference unless traveling at a high speed already. And if you do, you stand the risk of sucking up a puddle when it is raining. I may be wrong and feel free to correct me.

CHeck out my cardomain page, i have where it'* all routed and all. I had to pull the flap of material back that'* next to the radiator, then the complete headlight assembly, then you'll see EXACTLY how easy it is once you move that heavy cloth stuff.
Anyone help me out?
how would I go about guttin this?

The big box behind the intake is all heated windshield...
The pivite point near the oil filler it just that...
and I have no clue why the relay center is right there or the bug juice..

If I could find an experimental fender...spend 36 or so hours with it and a piece of sheet metal It might! look o/k but... It would be easyer to poke some holes and remove the highbeam on that side...
