YOU WILL NEVER BELEIVE MY BAD LUCK....Ok I was having fun driving on the north end of the 275 loop in Northern Cincinnati. This guy in this perfect 2002 Black SSEi was doin this freaky turn around thing in the middle of the road. I was coming over a blind hill at 45 or so and i see him sideways across the road and i lockum up and swerve a bit to NOT hit that work of art. I stop with a good 6 or so inches between my bumper and his left rear quarter panel. He signals "sorry" and points to a parking lot ahead and we pull off. I was a little stunned and skiddish so we chat for a while about his car and mine. And i found out hes this rich owner of a company i cant remember Johnson and Johnson? . Then we got on the topic of insurance somehow and i heard the most gut-wrenching conversation EVER: and i QUOTE

ME: "Yeah if I woulda hit you my insurance woulda gone up alot."

HIM: "Nah, mine would have if we woulda reported it, it was my fault; but I cant afford the record, I woulda just given you the car and called it even"

I just about DIED. My jaw hit the ground. I gave him the deer-in-headlights look...

HIM: " Aww, its nothing ive got 2 more at home, one silver, and another black all three paid off"

My knees began to buckle my breath dissapeared i just sat on my hood for a bit.
He asked if i was alright, i said "Not anymore" He laughed and said "It was nice meeting another Bonneville owner, that cares about his car so much. Ive got a meeting to catch ill see you around town." And he drove, SSEi and everything, off into the sunset....
I lost my balance and slid off my quarter panel and just sat by my tire for a bit in the gravel, and contimplated, "WHY THE HELL COULDNT I HAVE JUST HIT HIM"...
I sit here at my computer realizing i have the WORST luck. THe chance of my lifetime fur sure, and i blew it unknowingly.... Im still stunned....ugh

To bad..well sorta..it was an up and down kinda story

but 3 Bonnes...geez

i guess it was good that i didnt hit him, with all the injury potential and stuff... but still AN SSEi !!!! I think im going to hafta go get treated for depression now..... :(

EDIT: Now partially regaining my sences makes me question his reliability. But at the time facing a guy in a full suit and a laptop in the backseat, he seemed pretty credible... and a conversation like that is like hitting you with a sack of bricks... And he owns 3 identical SSEi'* (besides paint and wheels) all ordered in the same year. One black one oficcially belonging to the company he owns, and the other two his personal "toys"...

Its ok. Glad nobody is hurt in this situation. Just save and trade one bonny in for a 2000. Thats all. I am planning on that now.

Did you mention BC to him? Look at it this way, you would have had two smashed up cars, neither one of much use to yourself. Probably better that you didnt hit him, insurance companies are a pain to deal with.

Hmm i guess im really lucky... has anyone else noticed that in my stories that i have had a TON of potential to get hurt? Jeezzz..... thats interesting... THATS what i get for living near Cincinnati....

He mentioned he liked the stickers in my windows of BC, but he said he didnt have enough time and would proly never mod his. But he enjoyed the idea and said if he ever had the chance he would check it out....

I just notice you signature and I have a bright white paint job factory according to my RPO'*. So I guess that its legal.

3 Identical SSEi'*? Thats absurd, 2 is enough. Takes to long to wash and wax and love more than 2 each weekend.

Getting into an accident would have been more trouble than its worth. Even if he gave you the car, it would still be a wreck.
