Default rough idle

sometimes my car idles really rough.but not all the time.which i dont understand.it doesnt seem to matter whether or not the a/c is one.it seems to be especially bad when parked either uphill or downhill.and only does it certain times.could weather conditions play a role? like today it was doin it and it was like 70-80 rather humid cause it was preparing to rain.are some new plugs/wires in my future.and no im not gonna buy performance ones.id like too but i dont have the moolah.

Ok, i still owe half my car to my parents I almost bought a green 97 with 123 miles but the guy sold it. Then i realized after i got this, that it has 20k less then that one did... Yeah my account was hurting, but today is payday! Actually any decent wire is all you really need. I just wanted something that will look good, last, and give me headroom in ignition performance if i ever decide to beef it up and get power out of it. Delcos were quoted at 60 for me by the shop i get parts at cost for (mom works there).

LittleHoov how long have you had you car? I would start with the spark plugs and wires. Say away from Bosch. Also check to see if you MAF screen is there. Maybe the previous owner removed it.

I think this is a prime candidate for a brand new Series III supercharged Swap!

Stay away from Bosch ??? Hmm that is what I am running. Just the single electrode platinum. Sometimes it doesn't idle all that great. What is the concensus on the best plugs to run ???? Anyone try AC platinum ?
