i was at a party yesterday with the car, was messing around with idiot my age and little older guys about how much my buddies old Nova sucked
it'* one of those mid-eighties toyota corolla knock-offs
he got kinda pissed and decided to show me how fast it was by running a quick mile
we went over to the mile, ran it to check for cars and set up at the end
my GF threw the hat and i went WOT, barked the tires and was going for a good run
his Nova stalled off the line when he dropped the clutch in 2nd... idiot
so i circled around and gave him a second chance
my GF signaled, i gave 7/8 throttle, no bark, really a good run going
he dropped the clutch in first, got about one good rotation of the tires in his amazing show of power
i took him off the line, in the end, i just owned him
i had time to go back and pick up my GF and run the country roads back to the party before he drove by screaming that i had his permission to do things to myself
as he turned the corner at the end of the street he braked late, got too much weight transfer and slid straight though the intersection in front of a C10, obviously too into looking cool than looking out
it was a great party tho

i'm really just exstatic (sp?) that my car beat something off the line... even if it was a Nova

got the car together perfect, working on sanding bondo now, plus getting the cash for MSD coils
