MSD and Taylor are better but I would go by your current cords for your measurements.

Believe it or not, Canadian Tire'* own brand are THE WORST! Ask any Canadian!
In my own opinion, I feel Taylor & MSD are the best out there right now. BTW, I think that mechanic of "yours" is not too knowable when it comes to wires. (just my opinion) Here'* a lnk to a Taylor Wire set: http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...y_Code=GPUNDER
Here'* MSD'* site address too: http://www.msdignition.com/ Just click on Automotive, then spark plug wires.

MSD is considered the best wire around by many and others also swear by Taylor. As for accel I continue to hear conflict. Also the Taylor wire you bought or looked at may have been the wrong type for your application. I sell Taylor wires after looking into all the other wires due to the options and excellent quality. I know many mechanics who when asked told me to run not walk away from accel. They also say the sad part is they make more money on a set of accel VS a set of Taylor or MSD. The price difference may have been individual.
