Well it looks like my Tranny is bleeding.....slips in reverse when cold (ohio winter)..I have now before me a dilemma...RE-Built or Brand New...I am looking for suggestions on this...So far a ABC Tranny "Re-Build" w/ 2yr-24K warranty installated = $1500...GM dealer "Brand New" installed $2400.00 ($1900 parts) ($500 labor)

Now.. I am no slouch..I do believe in getting what you pay for...and the money is in the pocket...but...I would like to get something RADICAL also....I have had re-builds before...some OK...some not...

Hold up. I know someone who can hook you up with this guy near Chicago who specializes in rebuilting FWD trannies, but in the process beefs then up with quality performance parts so they can take a beating like no other. I'll find out what I can.
