Default 1989 Bonnie Versus 1980 BMW 323i

I have a friend that works with me that says his 80 BMW is faster than my bonnie. I say I can take him off the line but he might have me for top end. What do ya'll think?

That'* nothing short of PITIFUL! It almost made me cry! With laughter!

1987 Pontiac Bonneville SE 9.7 17.3

You're faster than that. You have an updated motor, but I don't have specs on the
89. I assume you're talking about the 320i. I've never heard of a 323. 325i wasn't available in 80.

0-60, hands down, and 1/4 mile a bigger margin than you see here. To your favor. Print this out and tell him to buy you lunch 'cuz I said he was an uneducated idiot. Not even worth wasting your time on. You've probably got a 2-second margin on him at the 1/4. That'* HUGE.

2 seconds is more like a lifetime in the quarter.

I found the specs on a 1980 323i. Most did 0-60 in about 11 seconds. The reason u don't find much about the 323i is because it was made overseas and very few were shipped to America. It makes 143 hp and 140 torque. and the bonny will eat that for dinner. He'* got me in the top end because the BMW will go 120 but i'll smoke him in the quarter for sure. No matter what it'* gonna be fun.
