Hi all I'm new to the club. I have a 97 Teal SE and need to update, replace etc.Prioities- suspension Want to lower the car about 2". Am running 45'*. Boost performance ie: intake, exhaust,MAF, for now. Nothing radical just a little more kick in the pants I have owned the car since it was new. Run synthetics in engine and transmission and everything is tight and working.Have run into nothing but road blocks on everything I've wanted to do. I tripped over this site while looking for Bonneville Performance parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BUCKMAN .

Placed an order tor new drop springs from Ty this morning. Now I need some help from anyone else wanting to drop their Bonnie and get the block filled so that we can get on with it. I.ve also checked out Hector'* CAI and have found someone locally that can build something similar. Ready to get low and go.
I will also be advertising the drop springs in the E-bay world and everywhere else we can get them advertised. It shouldn’t take too long to get the 25 orders done. If for some reason you cannot wait I can offer you the same drop springs as a one off custom order. This will mean it will cost more but they will be a one off product specifically designed for your need. I would prefer to see a full run of 1" drop springs. Now don’t despair the coils have a adjustment zone (portion you can cut) in them so you can customize there height by 1". The coils are a direct copy of the SC coils but they are lower and stiffer. Re ember ALL drop coils will create a bit of a pog affect especially the ones that are stiffer or over 1" of drop. If you keep the drop at 1" the amount of Pogo effect is minimized. Also if you want ot confirm this information look at the write up on the GP store and you will find this is true for all drop springs. I have found a solution to your pogo strut problem, koni struts that work with stock springs costing 200 each with a purchase of 4. . Basically the same deal as the GP store. Yes and it also requires your own stock cores or an additional cost of me getting the cores for you. If you keep the drop at 1" the amount of Pogo effect is minimized. Also if you want to confirm this information look at the drop spring and koni strut write up on the GP store and you will find this is true for all drop springs. Any questions contact me through my e-mail. The koni struts will be offered in the store soon. Basically I am mimicking all the products provided for the GP and other gm cars and providing them for the Bonneville. I’m not a charity case but I do try and keep the prices down. The only product I "make" is actually made by a coil spring factory so the quality is as good if not better than the GP drop springs.

TY suggested that before I spent a extra $240.00 to lower my car that I go buy a set of tie downs to pull the car down the two inch'* I want {before I spend the extra $'*} to spedial order the springs needed to drop my car that much. Picked them up today at Advance Autos and I plan to put them on tomorrow as it was raining all day long today. He said I would want to see how much pogo effect I would experience with this much drop. What does Pogo effect mean? I know I could ask him,but what do you think? Will let you know how the pull downs work tommorrow.
