2009 Saturn Vue Hybrid Radio issue
I started my car this morning and got no power to my radio. Drove it to work turn off the car and restarted it back up and it worked fine was set back to AM. Any idea why this happen? Was it a fluke

the fuse could be loose, i would take the fuse out and gently pull out from behind it with a little pick or jewelers screwdriver. just be careful if its metal not to short anything out

not usually dusty, unless the radio one is under the hood. they open up from vibration and heat, and loose connections make more heat and it compounds from there.

no they're not dirty, loose connection and carbon probably. needs inspection and probably a screwdriver to scrape whatever off and tighten the copper part back up so it doesnt happen again

The new radios are ran by the data circuit in the car. Sometimes there can be too much clutter on the data line and the BCM didn't get the message through to the radio to turn on. I had a couple of devills with the NAV radios just stop working. I couldn't get them to power up with the scan tool or anything. I simply unplugged it and plugged it back in and it came back to life. Everything on cars today is a computer and sometimes like your home computer they simply need rebooting.
