Default 2007 Saturn Ion Wont Start Possible Short

I have a 2007 Saturn Ion Sedan with the 2.2 Ecotech, manual transmission. I made a pretty bad mistake with this car yesterday. I went to jump the AC resistor to get the AC compressor to turn on and I accidentally put my jump wire in the fuse box hole for the AC diode. It immediately stalled out the engine and now it will not start again. All the accessories work but when you turn the key to start, everything goes blank and will until it goes back to accessory. My friend had a good Snap On scanner and it is not throwing any codes and we were able to make all of the accessories and gauge cluster function with the scanner. Any Ideas?

Did you check all fuses?

Have someone turn the key to start when someone else holds a test light to the starter enable wire on the starter.

Yes, we checked all the fuses. We are getting power to the starter relay we were also able to jump the starter and through the relay and start the car briefly but then it shuts off like the computer is shutting the injectors off.

When it quits after running briefly, it should show some kind of problem when scanned with your friend'* Snap-On scanner . . . ?

When it starts is the alternator charging?

There'* no telling what you did. Something like this can't be diagnosed from here. Especially not knowing where you sent stray voltage.

So you pulled out #35, and sent power to one of the contacts?

From your description, it sounds like you created a problem with the Security system.......you were probably scanning P codes, you have to scan for B codes.....

And FYI, there is NO A/C resistor that you can jump in this vehicle, to make your compressor run.....

It'* a possibility, that you took out your BCM.......is your scan tool capable of communicating with it?

Yes, I supplied power to the 7 hole of #35 and it immediately stopped the engine and created the no start problem. I thought it might be the security system too but I am not getting the light. It shuts off after a couple seconds of turning the ignition on.

Thanks for the diagrams! It is a possibility that I may have damaged a circuit in the BCM but the scanner was able to make all the accessories function on demand. So it is communicating.

It was too quick to tell, it didn't throw any codes after it ran.
