Default Saturn Astra.

Hello! Something happened with my Saturn Astra. The engine began to run unevenly, appeared to vibrate, and the oil consumption increased. Has anyone encountered this problem? What is the reason?

Holy crap!

An Astra?

I saw one and thought, what the hell is that? I think I may have been one of the few on this board, that has even seen one...

Wonder if they will be worth any money in the future, if in good shape? Only made one year....

Since the car is 10 years old, you don't give the mileage, and don't say if you are the original owner, so we have no maintenance history....

So you treat it like any engine.....I believe this is a 1.8?

Any codes?

Any external leaks, like oil?

Last known COMPLETE TUNEUP?

Sounds like a misfire.....which could be caused by any number of things....

Hello! Thanks for the tips! I found a great website with repair kits. I solved the problem cheaply and quickly. There were no problems with the delivery.

I suspect he is a spammer. His IP shows Russia. His 2nd to last post was caught as spam, he noticed that, and changed the link so it wouldn't show up as a link.

He probably uses a proxy server in Russia. Very common these days if someone wants to hide their tracks. the phone number on the web page he wants us all to go to returns to Direct2Internet Corp in Florida functioning as a CLEC off of the AT&T BellSouth system. Looking up the area code and the prefix it appears that Direct2Internet Corp issues phone numbers to countless spammers.
