Default water pump (fixed)

So got home tonight and smoking was coming out from under my hood poped the hood could smell coolant checked hoses they all ok noticed coolant on the belt side of the motor under closer look noticed it was puddleing on the motor next the water pump check the elbow that runs into the motor it is not leaking so my question is the water pump bad or did the gasket bust the car did not over heat anyway to tell the differnece

There are 2 elbows, check both. Also check the heater hoses. Clean up the area real good and then watch for leaking. Coolant can leak from one place and travel to another, so be sure to use your hand to check under areas.

It was the two elbows they had broken at each end on both 45 mins to fix a lot easier than the water pump thanks for the help took longer to clean up the coolant that leaked out
