Today I went to a pull-a-part and got 3 coils from a smashed up lasabre with 85k miles. Replaced the coil in question and it didnt change. Replaced all 3 with no change. (havnt found any more arching). I dont currently have access to a scanner but I believe its still cylinder 3. When i pulled that spark plug and started the car, I didnt notice a change.

There is also the possibility of a bad injector. Pull the rail and swap #3 to another hole and see if the miss moves.

Everyone is giving you good advice, but you really need to buy an inexpensive code reader. You can get them on Ebay for $30. If you had a code reader I would tell you to put the old coils on, but switch their positions to see if the misfire follows the coil. Our focus on cracks in the coil/wire/plug is because you mentioned it was worse when damp. It could be an injector, but that would not change with differences in relative humidity.

Don't assume the JY coils you bought are good.

Why do you think it is still #3 that is misfiring? Without a scanner it is difficult (but not impossible) to tell.

you guys are right on the money, it was the plug wire. I realized it when I was checking each coil for spark and #3 kept sparking on the coil. runs great now, except the water pump just went

I am glad you found the misfire problem. Hopefully you changed all the wires, not just #3. If one failed the others won't be too far behind.

At least with the water pump you know for certain what needs to be fixed.
