Help - Electrical? Fuse? Dash problems!

I not only have dash lights going out(read that thread), but I have a digital compass, digital monitoring display, and regular gauges. I have owned 2 other bonnevilles, but this one has a lot more "stuff" on it.

What happened today was I started the car, the gauges went nuts flashing and the arms on the regular ones were going back and forth like it was having a seizure. Then this afternoon they completely went out on the whole dash, all the lighting. I didn't check the interior lights as I was driving while this happen, but it didn't hinder driving and the regular gauges(non-digital) all were functioning but would flicker back and forth from time to time.

Any ideas? I have a lot to do on this car to get it up to par, but this is something I am very interested in getting remedied quickly. Any ideas are appreciated.

Sounds like a ground or loose connection somewhere in the dash controls. If you have a factory manual find the schematic for the dash and any points where all of the gauges connect. Definitely electrical, I'd find the ground for the dash and check that first.

Also, did you check the fuse to see if it was blown after they went out? Could try replacing it just for laughs before you spend too much time on other things, but it sounds like there is something bigger going on.

KP Thanks

Thanks I will be going to auto zone and replacing the fuse first because I have to replace the trunk pop one anyway....so I am going to just get a fuse kit and replace them all. From there I will take a look at the wiring.
