I have a 2000 Bonneville SE and my shocks went out because my "mechanic" didn't hook the air compressor right to the shocks so my compressor ran constantly. My question is what does my air compressor run besides my shocks (my ac still runs). Also, if I don't have to replace my air compressor I will get a air suspension coil spring conversion kit instead of getting air shocks.
What are your thoughts?

Only thing the air compressor does is feed air to the rear struts. That'* it.

if your struts are still good you can hook this up and have a manual inflater.

ok thanks. i think i have it figured out. its a wiring harness and not my air compressor thankfully
