2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi / Low Tire Pressure message
Last week my 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, began flashing a Tire Pressure Low. I checked my tire pressure and the pressures are fine. Is there something else that can be causing this message? Also is there a way to reset this to avoid this message from flashing in the DIC? (Driver Information Center) I apologize if this in in the wrong area and understand if the moderators move it to the correct forum. I need direction on what it could be causing the erroneous message.
Thanks,
Michelle

if you go into the DIC there will be a reset tire pressure option. scroll to that and hold the reset button for 3-5 seconds until it resets.
more than likely you have a hub that is bad. the wheel speed sensor is internal to the hub and cannot be replaced alone. the car judges the PSI in the tires by that sensor. if it sees one wheel turning faster than the others you will get the low tire pressure warning
