The electric window and lock work on the drivers door of my 05 bonneville GXP, but none of the others do.
I thought it was probably in the switches on the drivers side door panel , but upon checking the car with a scanner, all of the switches are working and signaling to the computer to actuate the appropriate electric motor. However , nothing happens when you hit those switches.

Has anyone else had this problem , if so were they able to get it corrected and how ?

You most likely have water under the carpet, that has pooled under the driver'* seat and corrosion has creep-ed into areas where the electrical lines connect. What is required is to remove the drivers seat and cut back the carpet to get to these unassuming connections. If you don't want to cut the carpet the repair requires removing both front seats, console, and then removing the entire carpet. Do a search under my name and you will find pictures of the repair.

Because it'* only one window that means that the solution is more complicated. If there were all of the windows most probably you could work something out under the dash. You need to follow the wiring to the switch. From there you can continue following the wire to the motor. Testing it with a 12v test light. I think it'* possible that you'll find a corroded connector interrupting the voltage to the motor. Good luck and get back to us.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. It'* soaking wet under the carpet so I'm reasonably sure that If i can find the junction, that'* probably where the problem lies.
Any hints as to what I am looking for ? A plug? a bus bar? wire nut???? Heres a couple pictures of where I am so far.

Probably a bus bar, they are wide & normally taped up well with black electrical tape along the side runners. Connectors need to be clean/rust free and dry.
A hair dryer and compressed air to connectors can go a long way to dry them out.
Electrical spray contact cleaner, may help too.

I didn't think about that, QD cleaner might be something I will try.
