Default trans am production numbers question

hi
i am a member on moparts and there was a thread about cars you wish you still had.
i posted about a car i only owned for 2 weeks that i THINK I HAD. my memory could be bad, it was 1980 when i owned it. so i figure who better than anyone than a trans am chat room to answer my question.

i was 17yo and a bought a extremely rusty black 74 trans am. i remember that it was a anniversary edition with T tops. it had a 455 4 speed sd motor. i only owned it for 2 weeks and the first week i was replacing the clutch, brakes, and rear end.
a few people posted that such a car never existed. i must have had a 76. i could have sworn that it was a 74. am i smoking something or did such a car actually exist?

74-76 Trans Ams had the same front ends. There was an anniversary edition Trans Am in 76 for the 50th anniversary of Pontiac, it had black paint and gold trim. The SD-455 was from 73-76.

That'* all I could find.

the Hurst T top started in 1976 . but there was 2 other Co. that made t-tops. also76 was the last year for the 455

here is a 75 with aftermarket top'* the tops look like 78-81 fisher tops. you can see this is a 75 because of the 1 year bumper grills with the running lights in the grill.
