2007 Pontiac G6
I'm so very frustrated with my G6. I've had the car 5-1/2 years and 3 years ago the repairs started and it has become my own personal mechanical bottomless money pit. And I'm talking a voracious appetite.
First, replaced the water pump. Then it was the front Brakes , both front hub assemblies, both front outer tie Rod ends. After that two factory recalls, and over time both front and rear brakes and rotors, Dorman heater lines (they run across the front of the intake manifold and up near the top, both 12V accessory plugs,12v wiring harness, passenger door mirror, and just 10 months ago another water pump and the thermostat along with it. But this time the blades of the fan didn't show what would be considered;I guess) normal rust. It looked more like the DEXCOOL coolant fluid that is required.
As of today, April 1st, I still need a radiator, hood, and just found out I'm due for an oil change, shocks/struts, oil pressure unit, and yet ANOTHER front hub assembly for the right side (makes #4 - 2 left and 2 right). I'm really ready to get rid of the vehicle, and I would this minute if I could afford anything else.
So does all these constant repairs sound normal? I emailed GM, and was told that I was on my own for having my transmission checked because the intake manifold gasket is notorious for splitting and allowing coolant into the transmission. Basically I'm screwed because they didn't want to help determine if the transmission is at risk.
What to do now? I will most definitely appreciate any and all suggestions.

Well, when you have as many problems as this, you should give complete info like which engine(2.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.9),which transmission and mileage......
Also mileage/times when repeat repairs are done.....
As for brake work on a 12 year old car, that depends on how you drive, the terrain, and the quality of parts used....
Hub bearings? Yes, those are problems.....another problem is buying the cheap after market replacements, that just last a year.....
Who told you that? 4 or 6 speed transmission? A split intake manifold gasket would put coolant into the engine, not the transmission....
Recalls are done at no charge to you.....
Yes, it'* possible that struts are leaking on a 12 year old car....
Why do you need a radiator? Leaking? If yes, then it should be replaced before it causes overheating and serious engine problems.....
Sorry you are having problems........but as cars get old, and all the scheduled maintenance that should be performed on it, is not done, then you are more likely to have problems.....
I have seen problems with hub assemblies.......I have seen coolant leaks at the crossover pipe for the 3.5.......and if you have a convertible top, the various rattle problems will drive you and a dealership crazy.....
The G6 was a replacement for the Grand Am......it was an upgrade in looks/style, but it'* track record was about the same......some of them never had major problems, some did.......
I understand your frustration...cars can become money pits.......but there comes a time when you have to decide if you want to keep sinking money in it, or use that money towards another vehicle...no one here has a better crystal ball than you....

What Tech II said ^^^ .
. . . and: I see in your profile you are in MS and that your car has the 3.5l .
What kind of driving does this car see? Lots of rain/puddles/etc? Lots of highway? Lots of city? Lots of potholes? Does it go muddin' often? . . . etc.?
Who did all of the repairs you've mentioned?
Do you tend to treat it very nicely or some other way?
What is the odometer reading today?
What'* wrong with the hood that is requiring replacement?
Is it possible that the transmission is at risk because of the (transmission cooler in the) radiator instead of the intake-manifold gasket?
