Just checked rockauto.com and the fan motor ranges from 18-69 bucks.

With the battery disconnected, rotate the fan blades by hand to feel for any play, and to make sure it is not hitting the fan shroud. If it is hitting the shroud you need to fix that or a new fan will do the same. If there is play in the fan, or it is the fan assembly that is making the noise, best just to replace it. They aren't expensive.

Which fan, and what kind of noise?

I have the main fan on the way out now that squeals when it is cool and humid myself. The best bet is to pull the fan assembly out and swap the motor if that is the issue.
