96 Bonneville electrical questions
I've got a 96 Bonneville, 3.8 with 134k miles that I just bought. The car sat for a couple of years needing a water pump, I put the pump on and fresh gas, etc etc.
It runs great but has a couple electrical issues...
Turn signals work but the inside indicators do not flash. Temp hand does not work (put new sensor in). I put the 2 wire sensor below the tstat in because the connector was badly corroded and broke when I tried to unhook it (this fixed a 2500 - 3000 rpm high idle issue by the way in case some one is searching). Is there another sensor for the fans? I still haven't seen the fans kick on (even with AC but the ac compressor isn't coming on either. I haven't checked them by jumper or anything yet, seems like a more "system" issue
The charge hand doesn't work either, but it is charging...
Oil pressure and everything else works fine.
I cleaned the ground busses (they weren't too bad).
All other lights etc seem to work fine except the fog lights.
Any thing that could be a common source for these issues?
Thanks in advance.

No evidence of mice, but the failing components seem to share 2 common grounds according to alldata I'll try checking the 2 ground today (hopefully) One ground (used by temp charge hand etc) appears to be next to the oil pressure sensor, the other underneath the drivers side kick panel

Sounds to me like you have a ground issue. The sensor ground is under the power steering pump near the oil filter. It'* a pain to get to. There are ground buses on both sides of the car. Also remove the fuse boxes. There'* 2 of them inside the car, drivers side and passenger side under glove box on the outside wall. Check for any corrosion.
