Ok. I have been searching everywhere trying to figure out what is wrong with my AC. It must be a common problem, found lots of good info. I do have some questions that I am personally having problems with that I cant find.

My Air only blows out at the windshield and feet. I read its a vacuum leak. I have traced the black hose all the way to the vacuum canister in the passenger side fender. Good connection there no leaks. Now from what I understand there should be another hose leaving the canister going to the HVAC (purple I think). There is no other hose on the canister not even a place for the hose to go. What am i not getting? Also under the passenger side dash I can see where the purple tube connects in to a fitting, there is also a green, blue, white, and orange tube there as well connecting to this same unit. there is one open fitting with nothing connecting to it is it suppose to be like that? How do you disconnect the tubes? Ive tried with no luck, dont want to tear something by pulling too hard.

Ok, well I have suction present. so on down to the programmer. Does anyone have any good ideas on how they get these things out of the car. I got two screws out and its loose but want come down Im having trouble getting the orange wiring connector out. Any other wires holding the thing in there? Thanks guys. Ok, Guess I cant delete posts. Never mind I got the programmer out. So If I read these posts right. since the male nipples that the clear vacuum hose connector attaches to is soft its bad and needs to be replaced. Correct?

Right, and you swap that center coupling plastic thing with some vacuum line. Presto it all works again.

Ok. Thanks, Thats what I did and it works like a champ. Now my only problem is the compressor doesn't cut on and off and just constantly stays running. Just went to a autoparts store and bought some freon. The guage says its completely full of freon and the air coming out the vents is still only cooler than the air temp outside, but its not cold by no means. Also where the water drips right behind the front pass tire for the AC, It seems to be dripping a lot more than usual. Think it might be because I have air in my system?
