So had a new fuel filter put in today, not the fix to my issue. Guessing vacuum leak or MAF. Hoping not a crank shaft position sensor cause that sounds expensive. By loosing power I mean it will run perfectly fine most mornings but if the engine is warm and I go somewhere or after coming out of a store, it will drive and idle normal but after a few minutes the RPM will drop. If im sitting idle it will drop to around 200rpm "ballpark" and it stalled out once, then spike to 1500 for a second and plain out to normal. If im driving it will drop RPM also. Havent noticed a diffrence from passing rpm or just crusing speeds. The car will do this 3 to 4 times and then it will be fine for a while, then it will do another cycle of sputtering.

Any recomendations on a line and its location to check for a vacuum leak?

Get a can of carb cleaner and spray it around all the vacuum connections in the engine bay. If there is a change in idle speed you found the leak.

sprayed it down and no change so im guessing no leak. Guess that makes sense since it only seems to do it latley when you start the car and the engine is warm like going to the store or getting gas.

Cleaned the MAF sensor and thought it was fixed since the engine light didnt come on, but the engine still stalls out when it is restarted warm or sits and idles at running temp. The light hasnt come on for a week now so I am out of codes to chase on this issue.
