2000 Grand Prix SE - It just dies
I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1L 4T65E Transmission that after approx 10 minutes (give or take a few minutes either way) just shuts down as if someone turned the key off, except it'* still in the run position and the lights in the dash come on. I'm at wits' end with this thing and am done putting any more of my time or money into her (I don't think there'* much else left to replace.
No DTC'* found
Replaced Crank Position sensor (both of them), Cam position sensor, Both O2 sensors, MAF sensor, MAP sensor, Ignition module, and the list goes on.
Can any part of the PK3 security system cause this or is the security only used at startup? Hypothetically, if the key was able to be pulled out of the ignition while driving (left in the run position of course) would it have any affect on anything?

Also safely, grab engine harnesses and give a tug while the engine is running, to see if you can create a stall.... If I remember right, there were numerous driveability problems caused by, a harness rub though down at the A/C accumulator....it caused different issues, depending on which wire rubbed through...

No it won't start right back up, it'* almost as if it needs to drop down to ambient air temp before it will restart. NOTE: A few months ago it would start up right away and if it didn't I wouldn't have to wait but maybe 2-3 minutes at the most to restart. But the stalling/dying only happened twice in that time.

I like the way you think @Tech II! And thanks for the area specifics, that'* a big help considering I will have a limited window of time to work with once I start the car. I will reply back with my findings and let you know. Please bear with me a couple days though as I'm working out of town in the bay area through Saturday, be home Sunday.
