not sure about your window, but I would try checking the grounds for your blower motor, and the resistor pack. You will most likely need to replace the resistor pack, but if there is a ground issue it will get fried again unless you fix it.

Do you have a Digital Multi-meter to check for resistance at the blower motor? If not I am sure I can take a trip to Chicago some time soon (assuming I get a job so I can afford gas) and take a look for ya :thumbup2

Where would the resistor pack be located and a pic would be helpful. Imma be hitting a junk yard tomorrow and I would just like to know what I'm looking 4. Thanks

it is very common for the resistor in the controls to go bad

For the window is it manual or electric? I'm going to assume that it's electric as most of the Grand Ams are. Check the fuse, you could get lucky. Look at the wiring between the door and the car. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Shake the wiring as you raise and lower the window. If the window moves you have a broken wire. Next check the switch. Check for power going to the master switch and a remote switch if there is one. If there is power it could be the electric motor inside the door. Go to a local auto parts store and buy a Haynes Repair Manual for your year Grand Am. It will show you how to replace the electric motor. Good Luck.
