00 GTP pcm?

Hello, I was wondering if the pcm on a 00 GTP has a rev limiter? Will it shut the car down if it gets close or hits the red line?

Yes it should, it's a protection device to help prevent blowing the engine.

In the pcm are rpm cutoffs (fuel is cut) baed on gear and rpm level, speed limiters (again fuel cutoff) and torque based limiting that pulls fuel and timing.

I believe it is around 136 or so, somewhere right in there. If you ever mod your car, most aftermarket PCM's have the limiter removed. And if someone custom tunes it, they can usually remove it.

126 mph on 97-03 GTP's

3,500RPM in park

5500 In D IIRC
