Default exhaust mods for series II?

i'm completely stock right now. i've looked, but maybe i'm looking in the wrong places, but i really haven't found any good info on this concept. most of what everyone else posted is for a series I. i don't want to do any major exhaust changes, just something to make it louder. my original idea involved splitting right past the stock cat., and putting on dual exhaust tips. of course, i've only had a bonneville for a few months, as opposed to some of you guys who've had them for years...anyone have any ideas or see anything wrong with my idea? know of any better mufflers/exhaust tips that i could put on and where i could buy them? my goal here is more for a good sound rather than performance (although i will take performance when i can get it)

i did watch the clip of your car taking off, and it does sound really cool, but is your motor a series II? i probably won't pull the resonator.

yeah its an s2. if you put dual magnaflow mufflers on yours then you'll get a more muffled sound than mine and it wont be as thumpy but you'll still hear it fine. Thats the way mine was before the hi flo cat and the resonator removal

He cannot put dual mufflers on, as the 92-99 has a camaro/firebird style muffler, unlike your dual muffler setup.

yeah, it has only one pipe coming back from right under the motor, and one pipe goes into the current (stock) muffler, then the muffler splits off into two. i've seen the exact same setup on my friend'* 91 firebird and 88 camaro.

magnaflow makes dual outlet mufflers too. Shouldn't sound too much different than two.
