What is your trim level, are you supercharged?
Changing the intake is a good start. Changing the thermostat to a 180* is a option. Tuned PCM, pulley change if you have a supercharger. New plugs and wires.

yeah I want to swap my pulley, but I need to do my lower intake gasket first, what exactly does the 180 degree thermostat do?

Its not so much on the cheap side, considering, but always remember... you suck in more air... you need to expell it easily
look into exhaust work when you look into the pulley... you will want it flowing better all around when you up the boost... plus it sounds better and demands a lil more attention... unless you go for a sleeper
