Default Gains from CAI, hi-flow cat, and muffler

I was wondering with all 3 mods, what kind of gains I would be looking at? My next mod, is the oil change

Are you talking about a true intake/cone filter with a real CAI?

If so, I'd say about 25hp max. Maybe 20 from that list.

without a proper intake you may see 10 HP, but since Peter made you that intake...20 should be feasible with a proper exhaust mod

Oh..wait...sorry 'bout that...

Now that you have your engine breathing, I'd say rockers to optimize that tlow...

From the intake you will be getting you'll get a nice HP gain, especially with the exhaust...they go hand in hand. Make it a true CAI and you'll be even more impressed.

If you really want performance upgrades...

1) CAI
2) Stage 1 throttle body(intense-racing.com)
3) Stage 1x cam (intense-racing.com) (requires stock rockers)

A CAI will protect the air filter from the engine heat. Usually involves some sort of containment with access to cooler outside air. A pipe/cone filter usually is open to the engine bay and its resulting heat. Cooler air equals more hp due to the denser compression of the air.

I think the best we can do in terms of CAI is build a box to protect against engine heat (i.e. Willwren). And maybe run some ducting from fog lights to the cone.
