Rockers W/O Hi Cat
Can I install the rockers before the high flow cat without damaging anything? Also I went to Midas and they refused to install my cat because it is against federal law. I called Nate (LakevilleSSEi) and he says its BS. I think it is too. Anywho, the rockers. Damage or no damage without high flow cat?

Do you have a new high flow cat? Go back to Midas, get under the car with a hammer and punch and knock the crap out of the cat and tell them the cat needs to be replaced -then ask who their toughest competitor is and how to get there.

I had Midas install my Magnaflow cat. As long as yours is listed as approved by whatever emissions testing, they should install it. If they say they can't, it'* just because they want to sell you one of their overpriced, non-high flow cats.
The hiflo cat will help maximize your rocker gain. It could possibly create some knock by increasing air in, without increasing air out if you don't have one.

Do you have a new high flow cat? Go back to Midas, get under the car with a hammer and punch and knock the crap out of the cat and tell them the cat needs to be replaced -then ask who their toughest competitor is and how to get there.
Anyways most places are closed today and I was wondering if the car could go for 2-3 days with the rockers without damaging anything.

As was said by the above 3, you will have no problems at all with stock cat/rockers. I actually don't know why you would have a problem with it? We had the stock cat on the SSEi for ~50k miles with 1.9 rockers, and we've had rockers on the Monte Carlo for ~10k or so and it still has the stock cat. The only problem with the stock cat is that it is a restriction, it doesn't have anything to do with being able to run a cam, rockers, or whatever. As Rogue recommended, I would probably install stronger springs to go with the rockers.
Telling the guy at midas that you're gonna go to their competitor probably won't bother him at all. You'd have to tell this to a manager or something typically for them to care. The guy working on the car probably gets paid either way so he doesn't care about the compan, thats what I've noticed about a lot of places lately anyways.

As Rogue recommended, I would probably install stronger springs to go with the rockers.
You shouldn't need the springs or pushrods with 6k shift points. We have stock springs in the SSEi with 1.9 rockers and it has 160k on it, its had the rockers since 70k, and it shifts at 6k with no problems, we also have stock springs in the Monte with no problems as well and it has stock 5800rpm shiftpoints.
