Skip the aluminum and order some tubing from INTENSE. They have 3" smooth-walled flextube for $11.99 a foot. It might be more expensive, but it'* the best thing in the world for a FWI.

the intense tubing is neoprene which will last longer than the rubber from autozone.

and have you read any of the hundreds of thread about a fwi. they're not that hard to install. especially on the year bonnes you have.

and the intense tubing is virtually smooth on the inside and i highly doubt that the autozone tubing is.

Friends don't let friends Autozone.

That tubing is a joke. It'* vinyl dryer hose in any color you like. It heatsoaks faster than a wet napkin.

Your stock airbox is far better.

Elijah_cronin used that tubing and it melted above his crossover.

We can't tell you what tubing to get because we don't know what filter you have.

A rice pipe with a CAI would be possibly cheaper and easier at this point. I recently helped someone locate some 3" tubing though for this very application. I'll send out a locating beacon.
