I have not had any dealings with those PCMs, I suggest a intense PCM myself. The tune seems much safer. As for the KR settings. You do not want those turned off. They are there for a good reason. A proper tune for this area is to half the KR response time, and double the decay rate.

3800 performance does the same thing as intense and they over ride the KR so it doesn't come on. its the thing that DANTHURS said KR response time, and double the decay rate. but they make it so it doesn't show up on your codes. a car is not supposed to have a KR thats the reason why they over ride it.

Thats OK, everyone has their favs. We have had trouble before so it was just a "flew into my radar" thing. Your post about eliminating KR sensing scared me. LOL. Not a good thing to eliminate it. I apologize if it made you uncomfortable. I'm overly protective, but I love the place. We do appreciate Members who know their Bonne'*.

So why is a pulley smaller than 3.5" not recommended? I plan on going to a 3.2" with a smaller belt ASAP.

no its all good it would scare me on the way i worded it to. sorry about that. there is a few things that i am trying to understand about bonne'* but overall what i have learned it has been a good ride. well it think on the pulley its not recommended cause it would pull to much power out of the engine i think im not to familiar with that. i would put a smaller pulley on it cause it would give you better spool.

The reason why I asked is because I know a few people with Monte SS' that are runnin 3.2" pulleys.

Mouse, running a 3.2 w/o many other supporting mods will cause KR and lead to more problems than power. Most gurus and vendors have found though experience that 3.5" is about the limitations for great power w/o as many issues.
