Waste gate adjustment

Has anyone played with this mod?
Is it really worth it or does it screw up driveability and fuel mileage?

I've done it to my past two GTP'* and I'll probably do it to the Bonnie when I start modding it, I've never really noticed any drastic changes in power or gas mileage, but it can't hurt.

this is my opinion on the wastegate adjusting mod. the adjustment it there so that when the wastegate actuator looses vac. the waste gate opens fully. if it was adjusted incorrectly, i would be like hitting the throttle and either not opening the whole way or opening too far. in both references, the plate will not be laying flat to allow the most air into it.there is an adjustment stop on the sc to allow it to only go to the wide open,(flat) postion. i may be wrong but this is just my aspect on the adjustment.

Yes there is an adjustment for the wide open position. It'* an allen screw. You don't want to touch that one.
I didn't notice any difference with the adjustment.
Maybe it only works when the actuator gets old and weak???
