Brakes: Powerslot Cryo or not?
I'm planing on beefing up my brakes before I make my car any faster. I was looking at powerslots but saw they had the normal Powerslots and then the cryo treated ones. Has anyone used/tried the cryo treated ones and noticed any difference over the regular Powerslots? And if none of us have tried them does anyone think they might be worth trying? Well time to head off to work. Later everyone

Yes, I do recommend, if available, to use Cryo rotors, drums, brake pads and shoes. I have done this to all my cars throughout the years. It reduces the chance for warped rotors and doubles the life of all the components.

Well if it really makes the difference the extra 30-40 a rotor is well worth it then. Even though it seems like some around here really abuse the normal Powerslots without warping I'll give em a try.
Thanks alot,

I don't think they make the Cryo treated ones for the Bonne, at least I couldn't find any when I was looking a month or so back.

My rotors are both drilled and slotted. I took the new rotors, drums, pads and shoes to a Cryo shop. I have put over 30k miles of hard driving in the Nortwest. No pulsation, no warpage and great wear.

They sell cryo rotors from Frozen Rotors; their website is as follows:
http://www.frozenrotors.com/
This is the link for their cryo Powerslots for 1998:

Yeah, powerslot makes rotors for all the 92+ bonnevilles(even though that site starts at 94), cyro to I'd imagine. It'* just us 87-91 guys that are stuck with a weird size :? But, everything I've heard about cryo rotors is good and if you got the cash I'd say go for it.
