transmission temp gauge?
where do i stick the sender on a 4t65e-hd?
could somone give me a pic i looked at the write up in technfo but there are no pics.

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
On top of the trans case, next to the crossover pipe. Get an electrical gauge as opposed to mechanical. It'll make it much easier. Or consider using the PCM'* data for the temp by getting an Aeroforce scangauge.

That may melt.
I made a custom heatshield that comes off the top of the crossover, and down the side near the sender. Then I also wrapped it in scrap material from my intake insulation 'Cool Tube'.
