Default accelerator pedal problems at WOT, newfound boost

this has been a problem (not really a problem) for quit a while now...

when you push down on your gas pedal for a WOT run, how hard do you really press? Id say none of us really need to push it that hard that our backs press harder against the back of the seat cuz we are pressing so hard...

well i have found that if i give it 99% WOT, i get a good run
and if i press 100%, foot thru the floor, i found a newfound boost... its like there is a NOS button under the gas pedal, only at 100% WOT....

hard to describe, and i have tried to catch it on video but its hard to pickup...

the boost whine actually changes pitch enough for a n00b to say, whats that? i guess its not really a problem, more of a wondering situation...

is there a gas pedal adjustment so i wouldnt have to press that hard?

TPS needs the TPS mod done to it -it is out of position (mounting) and needs to be adjusted so as to be in the prime position throughout the pedal range.
Maybe someone else can say it better, but I think you get the jest of it.

Or just snag a new TPS from the parts store... I think you can actually get adjustable ones for around $25. Dig up some of the old threads about the TPS mod, and you should find a linky for an adjustable sensor that'* commonly available.

Default tps mod

i have an '01 ssei with 3.4 pulley zzp computer, 180thermostat and cold air canister, i was goin to adjust the tps and when i measure the voltages the idle was higher and the wot was higher stock than the specs should of been after the adjustment. i was wondering if maybee they were different for my year. idle was around .7v and wot was somewhere around 5.6 or so.
