Default SLP IAT module

I just saw the SLP IAT module on ClubGP'* store. It claims;

A plug-in module that attaches between the air temperature sensor and its harness. This "advises" the PCM to provide maximum spark advance (1 to 2 degree increase) yet still retain proper knock sensor and engine function. A 5 to 7 horsepower increase is possible. Designed to fit most 1993-2001 GM cars.

Is this thing any good? I might get it, the price is right if it works. Thanks..........

It'* simply a resistor module to trick the IAT into thinking the outside air is temp is different. Go to Radio Shaq.

Whatever you use, don't leave it in! It'* only for short term use! The computer readjusts accordingly.

Correct, If you get/make a CAI get an IAT relocation, move it out of the hot engine bay and in a stream of cold air. This works good and all year long.

somewhere on casperelectronic.com mine came as an option with my GP Trasher intake I hacked up to make fit.
