Series 1 Crossover pipe heat shield with PICS.
The crossover pipe heatshield from www.grandprixstore.com will NOT fit the Series 1 as intended due to the different spacing of TB bolts and the location of our TPS, but it CAN be made to work.
Simply cut the mounting tabs off, and use two sheetmetal screws to install it onto the stock rear shield. Kudos to my wrench buddy Eric (the guy who filmed my 100mph pass in the dark), who did this for me while I worked on my Stabilizer bar endlinks:

Hmm thats sorta expensive for something you gotta cut up. We could probably get some SS sheeting cheaper and make one that fits even better.

Even if I do the wrap, I'll leave this. The whole idea is to keep the air from the radiator flowing to the rear, and not allow it to circulate near the TB.
