transmission for thr Riv

When I purchased this car several months ago. The car would let go of OD and 4th gear after a short time on the highway. I brought it to the transmission shop and the say their going to tear the thing apart for the repair so would I like to do anything else while I'm in there  . I am on a limited budget so I am not going with the total bullet proof rebuild. But would like some advice as to what improvments I should do?

thank you all in advance .

I'm sure they will rebuild already with improved clutches but ask anyways.
Get the shift kit for sure, is yous a 4t65e-hd? and improved boost valve and sleeve kit.
New torque convertor too but thats getting up there in price.

Its a 95 so I would assume 4t60ehd

I personally would be checking out the warranty offered.
