I have talked to alot of people and everybody has a diffrent story about these damn things I want to remove my catalytic converter but I dont know the whole story will this hurt my low end torque andd if I use a stage 2 superchip would this combination be better i plan on putting a flowmaster system...Will this make my engine burn rich? Will my O2 sensor even know its gone seeing that it is in my exhaust manifold.
I am also worried about the absence of the back presure.

You're force-feeding the engine, so backpressure isn't as serious of a concern to begin with. First, your O2 sensor won't have a clue the cat is gone. If you're planning on keeping the 2.5" diameter pipe, and adding a flowmaster, I know you'll be ok with removing it. You won't lean or rich out at all, 94 only has one O2 sensor. You're in luck.

If you go 3", you still probably won't have a problem. If your backpressure gets too low, simply plop on a 2.5" SC pulley and make up the difference. A good intake too. With all that, you'll be fine. SSEi95 is a good example of what you can do.

It worked out fine for me. I notied an increase in power right away. My previous exhaust was all messed up though. I got the 3" pipe, no cat, Magnaflow muffler and a set up dual tips. It is a bit meaner sounding than most, but I like it.

where did you get the 3" pipe from?

I had a local shop do all the work. The designed a system that would eliminate some bends and then ordered mandrial bent pipe sections that they then welded in place.

I know I have checked with local muffler shops and most can't do pipe over 2.5". This place said they can and have done up to 5" before.

If I were to remove my cat, would I still pass emissions? And do the exaust fumes really stink?

I can't really smell any difference now than when I did have the cat, and no, you most likely won't pass emmisions. Here in Minnesota, back when they did the testing, they would actually look under the car to verify the cat was installed.

Thats beat that I won't pass. I figured as much though. I'll probably need the stock cat anyway to keep my low end torque cause I plan on trying to save up for those *&* headers this summer. Man those things are sweet.

No, go with a high flow cat. You're ok as long as you don't increase your pipe diameter beyond the stock 2.5". High flow cat (I use an autosound....not sound related, just the name of the company, and I had the full size pickup size fitted) and a high flow muffler.

No problem.
