Timing belt or chain???

My mother has a '95 SE, it has 127,500 on it and she said something about never having her timing belt changed. I seem to remember seeing something about our cars having a timing chain, am I wrong??? What kind of maintenance should she have done so far??? She just got a rebuild transmission because the old one went south after she flushed it (NEVER doing that to my car). Other than oil changes and a tune up who knows when she has not done the factory scheduled services. So, any thoughts???

First, yes it's a chain!
Second, basic maintenance is about all that is needed on these cars really!
