I've decided that I am going with my original plan of installing nitrous to my 88 SSE and getting whatever I can out of it b4 I decide to rebuild or replace the engine. Has anybody used a direct port system? What are the advantages to it? I have seen some installs that look like they are simply a matter of plumbing? Is that correct or is there something I am missing? Another question I have is with a wet kit. Has anybody seen or used a plate system? The tech at Summit told me that it was the easiest install and the easiest to change jets. I looked and the part # he gave me which was nos05120 and that is listed to be used with camaros and firebirds. Will this work with my 88 3800? Guess that is enough to chew on for now. Have at it!

I think Curtis (clm2112) did a nitrous setup on his 88-91 LE, you should search for his thread...IIRC, it shows how to set up the bottle and the lines..
