Default 94/95 EGR tube size

Since I've been told a 92/93 EGR won't mount right to a 94/95 EGR pedestal, how big is the upper tube hole in the pedestal? I figure I can drill mine larger to accomodate the 94/95 tube.

I thought I had my leak-causing mismatch fixed with some high temp RTV, but it hasn't lasted. I'd like a better fix.

I can take a look when I get home and get some pics/measurements for you.

Where exactly is your leak? At the pedestal, or at the SC?

Top. That'* why I want to get a 94/95 tube for a good/proper fit on both ends.

Or I guess I could sleeve my SC hole.

Is the top tube even removable from the pedestal? Don't make me go out and look.

Ok.....going out there.....

I'll check tonight. Might even do a test-swap for you.

That reminds me, Pete sent me his leaky one a while back. I tested and they don't swap. The bottom of the 94/95 is too big for the hole in the 92/93 pedestal.

I can measure for my self, it seems.

You'd think you would only have to drill out the hole in the pedestal a bit. Should be easy being cast iron. But I'd still cut a custom gasket for it.
