Only I'd swap the coils for airbags. Pretty cheap these days.....

IF you take the rear up high enough to fit 26" rims on it the coils are going to stretch. Isn't much holding them in there but the weight of the car. Hitting a bump sitting that high could very easily lose one. You'd be basically puting all the weight on the shock mounts. Handling is going to suffer and some good chances a couple different fails. Bags are pretty simple to install.

im not actually raising it up that high, im jus goin for clearence its gonna sit the same as if some lowerd their Bonnie. I had already put a set on to see if they would fit because i already had 24s on it and the 26s went right on was able to turn and all.

if i added the bags as well, how does that setup operate, wouldnt i have to install the pump and other sensors ?

Other than using the AK29 air kit, there'* really nothing else you have to do.

Adding air struts is sweet for too much junk in the trunk..

I would definatly replace your springs with airbags. With the springs stretching out you loose the load bearing ability of the spring. Air bags you keep drivablity and get the height you need.

so lets so say i have a box with 4 12" woofers 3 different amps and two batteries plus a jack for the road would still required me to change springs. if i do have to go ahead and do that, does these run concurrent with struts on same pump ?

Even more so then ever cause you are added alot more weight. SO you will need a beefier spring tokeep the height.
