We're all H bodies. They look drastically different from the outside, but underneath, there's alot of similarities. Sway bar looks great Tim! Thanks for taking one for the team. I'm betting alot of 87-91 bonnies do this.

Hey Ty, what about a rear strutbar? Or could we modify the front bar onto the back?

csprague 04-05-2003 01:55 AM

hey I got your pm buddha. sent you a reply as well.

TiMSmo0th you can custom make a rear STB. there are instructions on the web. I was going to do one myself (before the car died)

csprague, can you give me the web site?

Buddha Jones 04-07-2003 05:14 PM

Hey csprague, can you send me that link as well? As well as where I can get some poly bushings for that swaybar?

csprague 04-07-2003 08:09 PM

I sent this info to Buddha Jones but I thought I would share it here as well. If anyone else wants to chime in, that'd be great.

Poly bushings: http://www.energysuspension.com/endl.html - What you need is down at the bottom, endlink sets, I don't know the size though. You'll have to go to a part stores, have them get an endlink kit for the Bonnie, and measure that to get the size.

As for the rear STB, how people usually do it is by buying a length of steel tubing, flattening the ends in a vice and bolting it on to the towers. My plan was to double-bolt it on each side and see how it worked.
