Swapping engine??? Can this be done?

Hey guys..I was wondering if I could swap my engine with a regal supercharged engine? Or would there have to be other cosmetic changes as well?>

I believe those have dogbones, so you probably would. You'd have to figure out how to mount the engine

willwren 05-30-2007 02:10 PM

You need from the donor car:

Engine
Wiring harness
Transmission
Axles
PCM

And your original mounts.

This is a very basic list of ingredients. But it gives you a better idea of the work involved.

Alright. I'm trying to figure out how much all of this will cost me. I like the bonneville body style but always have to have it in the shop cause the engine blows.

your farther ahead by selling it and getting an SSEi

I don't think I will get much for my car...has almost 110k miles...needs a new door and knick knocked out and then painted...

A swap isn't too bad.. Overall...what WillWren listed.. and you are rolling.
