cat and INTENSE PCM ordered!!!!
I have been searching for a replacement cat for the '03 SSEi for about three weeks now.... I have a HUGE headache right now. ALL of the muffler shops I have called in my area ONLY sell factory direct-fit cats, and want AT LEAST $300 to install I am at a loss. My eyes are not the greatest for constantly searching on the 'net for this stuff, it gives me a very bad headache.
I have found this though... is ONE of these the one that will work in the '03 and not have any problems?
Magnaflow 91000 SMALL OVAL, and 91000 SINGLE SENSOR
Vehicle: 2003 Pontiac Bonneville .. .what about one of those?
I hate this... I have even called the Magnaflow site and they said they can't help me
someone help quickly please before my head explodes

www.performancepeddler.com. I'm pretty sure I have a discount code Make sure that you get weld-in because those bolt ins suck, not to mention hi-flow... A good honest welder should charge you 40-60 bucks to weld it in
Pretty sure this is it, correct me if I'm wrong:

I know that I can order a 2 1/2 inch and weld it in, but I don't know if the O2 sensor needs to be relocated or not. Right now, the one after the cat is about a foot down from the cat.... do I just leave it there and order a cat without the O2 bung?
also, I know about the 80K mile warranty on the cats, but our '03 has 125,000 miles on it :(
That one looks fine to me Petraman, but like I said above, what about the O2 sensor, where does it go :?

I see... so hopefully, all said and done, we could get the PCM, disable that DTC, and get the new cat and install it for under $250 I hope.
what other benefits are there with the standard PCM? harder shifts? do they actually increase HP and TQ at all? not exactly deciding factors, but still curious.
